If you’re in Marseille and looking to maximize your travel spending, consider purchasing the Marseille City Pass. The card offers free admission to Marseille’s major museums with one notable exception being the Notre-Dame de la Garde Museum (not covered by the card). If you plan to be in Marseille for at least 48 hours, the savings offered with the museum pass can be considerable.
We’ve found that when we pay the full cost for entrance to museums with a steep admission price, we feel the need to spend a huge chunk of time there to get our money’s worth. But, with the Marseille City Pass, it’s possible to see a number of places, spending as much or as little time as you like in each, and not feel like you’re wasting money.

The Marseille City Pass also offers FREE public transportation for unlimited use of the city’s RTM public transit system (within your selected time of 24, 48, or 72 hours.)
The card can be purchased online via the Marseille Tourism website and at various locations throughout the city, including the Tourism Office, Train station Saint Charles and the Airport Shuttle ticket office (combined sale of the City Pass + round-trip Shuttle ticket only).
How much does it cost:
Marseille City Pass for 24 hours = 24€
Marseille City Pass for 48 hours = 31€
Marseille City Pass for 72 hours = 39€
To use the card, just present it at the ticket counter at participating museums and attractions, or use it to ‘check in’/’check out’ at the card readers on buses, metro, and trams. The museums option on the card is activated with the first use at a museum and the transportation element is activated with the first use on public transit.
